With Ian and Viv we went to the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Astounding place. Chandeliers the size of houses. Tiles inlaid in a way that seems impossible. Jack was basically speechless - he just stood and stared. We all loved it, including having to wear traditional arab dress, which just added something to the experience. It has a feeling of serenity, along with a sense that this is a place that is very special, with no expense spared. If you get over here you have to come to this place. Never been anywhere like it.
