Emma

Emma the cat here. First time blogger. I joined the Body family about 6 weeks ago. I am a 'Dubai Moggie' - from a shelter, and pretty skinny.
I heard the Dad explain that he thought it was about time the kids had a pet - and I reckon he was right. The first two days the two kids were absolutely terrified of me - I have never felt such power. But now they have no respect at all - the little one with the long hair and the pretty dresses carries me round all the time (secretly I kind of like it), and the slightly bigger one likes to play with me and chase things round. I love the Mum too - she is very nice to me and likes to cuddle. I'm not so sure about the Dad....

They're a nice family, but the Dad yells at me when I scratch stuff (actually so does the Mum and the kids - so I have pretty much stopped that. Can't deal with the confrontation). The Dad yells at me when I climb up the bench, onto the fridge, across the top of the cupboards, across the rangehood to the other cupboards....but he can't catch me so I don't care.
They have finally let me outside and so far I am hanging around - no need to run away because they look after me pretty well. We'll see how it goes....

Old

The grey guy in the photos below turned 30...mumble... last week. Had a wonderful day with the family celebrating. Very spoiled with presents, and then we had a great morning wandering around the mall, lunch, ice cream, then dinner at our favourite fish and chip place. Every day that you get birthday cupcakes has to be a good one doesn't it?

Dad and the sprogs - a really lovely evening.

The Von Trapps we ain't... Saturday night fever?
