I heard the Dad explain that he thought it was about time the kids had a pet - and I reckon he was right. The first two days the two kids were absolutely terrified of me - I have never felt such power. But now they have no respect at all - the little one with the long hair and the pretty dresses carries me round all the time (secretly I kind of like it), and the slightly bigger one likes to play with me and chase things round. I love the Mum too - she is very nice to me and likes to cuddle. I'm not so sure about the Dad....

They're a nice family, but the Dad yells at me when I scratch stuff (actually so does the Mum and the kids - so I have pretty much stopped that. Can't deal with the confrontation). The Dad yells at me when I climb up the bench, onto the fridge, across the top of the cupboards, across the rangehood to the other cupboards....but he can't catch me so I don't care.

They have finally let me outside and so far I am hanging around - no need to run away because they look after me pretty well. We'll see how it goes....
