Moving day

We're in the villa. It doesn't have an address. No streetnames - makes things tricky when trying to give directions to delivery guys with english (just) as a second language. Delanie did very well and was very patient getting things there. We moved from finding the villa to filling the villa seamlessly - again Delanie showed a talent for ordering and ensuring the delivery of new furniture. Was a very interesting day - massive traffic jam on the main road to start with (because someone decided to land a helicopter there!). Then about 8 trucks show up at one time - our stuff from NZ, next door's stuff, deliveries of new stuff...

Then guys turn up with the gas bottles (no piped gas - all in external bottles) and tell us that we don't have a connection - it has been tiled over / forgotten or both. So - we end up with half a company in kitchen trying to get the gas through pipes and to the stove....

Turns out that the dishwasher is the same - nowhere for it to drain. Water has been a bit on again / off again but seems to be sorted now.
Apart from that things went very well. Nothing broken. Kids love having their stuff around them again. Have a million pictures to put up. My 50 inch high definition plasma was delivered... it's a lovely house and we have lots of room for visitors.
